Case study
Autonomous AI Workforce Operating System
Built an AI-native operating system where autonomous agents plan, execute, and coordinate real work across a company's tools — a governed, self-building AI workforce, not a single-purpose bot.
Overview
The client wanted AI that did more than assist with individual tasks — an actual team of autonomous agents that could plan work, execute it end-to-end, and coordinate with each other, with a human staying in control of anything consequential.
The Challenge
Most AI tools handle one task at a time and forget everything once the session ends. None of them build their own integrations, adapt to a company's actual policies, or work together as a team the way human employees do.
The business impact:
- Every new integration meant an engineering ticket and a wait, instead of something the team could just ask for.
- Company policies and brand voice had to be re-explained to AI over and over, with no way to encode them once for every agent to follow.
- Nothing happened unless a person was actively prompting it — work never started itself.
Approach
How do you let a team extend what its AI can do without waiting on engineering?
New integrations meant an engineering ticket and a backlog wait, and any custom interface meant a dev project. We built a Coder agent that connects to any tool with an API from a natural-language request, live to the whole team in minutes, plus on-demand app generation so a dashboard or tracker gets built custom for the role and task at hand — no procurement or dev cycle needed.
How do you keep every agent working the way your company actually works?
Re-explaining brand voice and policy to AI in every session doesn't scale. We built a system where rules — brand voice, approval thresholds, company knowledge — are encoded once and applied by every agent automatically, with instant updates when a rule changes.
How do you get work to start without someone prompting it?
AI that only acts when asked isn't a team member, it's a tool. We built event-triggered and scheduled routines, so agents respond the moment a lead lands or a deadline approaches, and run recurring work on their own schedule.
How do you trust an autonomous system with real company work?
Autonomy without accountability isn't something an enterprise can adopt. We built granular role-based permissions, a full audit trail on every action and decision, and approval gates that require human sign-off on anything irreversible.
